Brickfield Enable: Checks report

Introduction
The Checks report provides a list of the checks that have failed and all checks for the course, or courses.
It has two different views:
- “Show checks with errors” to view the checks with errors.
- “Show all checks” to view all checks.
N.B.: In the top right of the Checks report is a “Help docs” button that will bring your directly to this documentation page.
Where to find the Checks report
The Checks report can be accessed via:
- From Site administration: Site administration > Brickfield Enable > Accessibility management > Go to reports > Find > Checks
- From a course: Course actions menu > More > Brickfield Accessibility+ Toolkit > Find > Checks
- From the course block: Accessibility+ Review block > View Accessibility+ report (Chart icon) > Find > Checks
How to use the Checks report
The Checks report displays two views for the breakdown of checks.
The heading area of the report will show whether the errors listed are for one course or many courses.
- If the results are for one course, the course name is displayed.
- If the results are for more than one course, the number of courses is displayed.
View the checks with errors
To view the checks with errors:
- Ensure you are viewing the “Checks” report.
- Toggle the report view to “Show checks with errors”.
View all of the checks
To view all of the checks:
- Ensure you are viewing the “Checks” report.
- Toggle the report view to “Show all checks”.
View the errors for a check
To view the errors for a check:
- Ensure you are viewing the “Checks” report.
- Select the “View” link to view the errors.
Access a checks fix wizard
Some checks have corresponding fix wizards, so you have a Fix link for each check when it exists.
To view the wizard for a check:
- Ensure you are viewing the “Checks” report.
- Select the “Fix … errors” link to access the fix wizard.
The available download options for the Checks report
This Checks reports table data can be usually downloaded as the following, however this is dependent on your Moodle site’s admin settings as to which download options are enabled:
- Comma separated values (.csv)
- Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)
- HTML table
- Javascript Object Notation (.json)
- OpenDocument (.ods)
- Portable Document Format (.pdf)
Capability Requirements
Access to the Brickfield Accessibility+ Toolkit is controlled by capabilities and users must have the correct capabilities in the correct context.
- ‘tool/bfplus:viewsystemtools’ capability – To view site level reports and wizards.
- ‘tool/bfplus:viewcoursetools’ capability – To view inpidual course reports and wizards.
- ‘accessibilityplustool/checkresults:view’ capability – To view this Checks report, users must have this and one of the capabilities mentioned above.
