Introduction

The Courses report displays three views for the breakdowns of courses, tags, and categories.

 

It has three different views, as tabs:

  • “Check errors” to display course error totals per course.
  • “Activities” to display course activities failed per course.
  • “Pass rate” to display course activities pass rate % per course.

 

N.B.: In the top right of the Courses report is a “Help docs” button that will bring your directly to this documentation page.

Where to find the Courses report

The Courses report can be accessed via:

  • From site administration: Site administration > Brickfield Enable > Accessibility management > Go to reports > Find > Courses
  • From a course: Course actions menu > More > Brickfield Accessibility+ Toolkit > Find > Courses
  • From the course block: Accessibility+ Review block > View Accessibility+ report (Chart icon) > Find > Courses

How to use the Courses report

The Courses report displays three views for the breakdowns of courses, tags, and categories.

 

The table displays a row for each course that contains eight parts:

  • Course
  • Total activities
  • Image
  • Layout
  • Link
  • Media
  • Table
  • Text

Change the type of data displayed

To change the type of data the report is displaying:

  1. Ensure you are viewing the “Courses” report.
  2. Select the relevant option in the dropdown menu to the right of the report tabs.

View the error totals per course, tag, or category

To view the error totals per course:

  1. Ensure you are viewing the “Courses” report.
  2. Select the “Check errors” tab.

View the activities failed per course

To view the activities failed per course:

  1. Ensure you are viewing the “Courses” report.
  2. Select the “Activities” tab.

View the activities pass rate % per course

To view the activities pass rate % per course:

  1. Ensure you are viewing the “Courses” report.
  2. Select the “Pass rate” tab.

The available download options for the Courses report

This Courses reports table data can be usually downloaded as the following, however this is dependent on your Moodle site’s admin settings as to which download options are enabled:

  • Comma separated values (.csv)
  • Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)
  • HTML table
  • Javascript Object Notation (.json)
  • OpenDocument (.ods)
  • Portable Document Format (.pdf)

Capability Requirements

Access to the Brickfield Accessibility+ Toolkit is controlled by capabilities and users must have the correct capabilities in the correct context.

  • ‘tool/bfplus:viewsystemtools’ capability – To view site level reports and wizards.
  • ‘tool/bfplus:viewcoursetools’ capability – To view individual course reports and wizards.
  • ‘accessibilityplustool/courses:view’ capability – To view this Courses report, users must have this and one of the capabilities mentioned above.
  • ‘accessibilityplustool/coursecategories:view’ capability – To view the category list options, users must have this and one of the bfplus capabilities mentioned above.
  • ‘accessibilityplustool/coursetags:view’ capability – To view this tags option, users must have this and one of the bfplus capabilities mentioned above.
